Class 5 – Year 2 – Flora
Flora is a lovely member of the class who is polite, well behaved and a pleasure to teach. She works hard and always tries her best, she really thinks about things and completes work to a high standard. Well done Flora, keep up the great work
Junior Star of the Week
Class 10 – Year 4 – Martin
I am delighted to give this weeks overall star of the week to Martin. He is making incredible progress in all aspects of his learning. Recently, Martin has shown a really mature attitude and constantly wants to better himself and take on challenges. This newfound confidence has seen Martin become an excellent teacher to his peers. During a Maths lesson Martin helped explain a tricky concept and offered amazing encouragement to a fellow pupil.
Well done Martin, it’s such a pleasure having you in Class 10.
Class Stars of the Week
Class 1 – Reception – Layla
Layla is our star of the week. She is producing some amazing writing and has made a great attempt at writing some captions this week. Layla loves to write. She is not afraid to have a go and will even attempt writing long sentences and even some complex words. Layla’s numbers are strength as well. She is secure with numbers beyond 20 and confidently doubles numbers. Layla is already working well within her early learning goal for Maths. She is always kind to her friends and is a super helper in class. Super work Layla, well done.
Class 4 – Year 1 – Courtney
This week’s star of the week is Courtney from class 4. Courtney has had a fantastic few weeks. She is working very hard in class and it is showing in her writing. Courtney has done especially well in her maths work. I am really pleased with her work exploring number 20. Keep up the good work Courtney. I am very proud of you.
Class 6 – Year 2– Lola
The star of the week in Class 6 is Lola. Lola is a friendly and polite young lady who very much enjoys helping out around the classroom. This term Lola has really grown in confidence and it is a pleasure to see her participating in group and class discussions. This week Lola has been working very hard during the ‘English’ lessons and has produced some good ‘Poetry’ based around nature. She has also demonstrated that she has the determination to calculate and solve many number problems based around division and grouping. Well done Lola and keep up the hard work.
Class 7 – Year 3 – Devon
Devon is making some great progress with his writing and is working on his maths, improving his understanding and working hard to learn his times tables, both at home and in school. Devon is a popular member of the class who enjoys interaction with his peers. Well-done Devon.
Class 9 – Year 4 – Solomon
We are really pleased with the effort Solomon is putting into his reading, writing and maths. He is applying what he’s been taught and keen to extend his knowledge and challenge him further. He is also extending his learning at home and has been drawing trees. He brought in a beautiful drawing of a fir tree using a technique we’d looked at in class.

Class 11 – Year 5 – Leo
This weeks Star of the week is Leo, Leo has produced some wonderful work in literacy this week. As a class we have been looking at Ancient Greek myths, Leo has come up with his own character called Leonardenson, a Greek warrior who was has to save his fathers life by killing the mythical creature Hydraflame. Leo’s story has been very carefully planned out and filled with wonderful description. Well-done Leo.
Class 14 – Year 6 –Honey
This week’s star of the week in Class 14 is Honey. Like all the children in year six, Honey has worked incredibly hard to improve ensure she is going to achieve the best she can in her SATs tests. Not only has Honey been working hard for herself though, she has taken the time to help her teacher in class by staying behind to tidy the classroom or coming in early to see if she can help set up in the morning. Doing this has set a fantastic example to all of the other children in the class and because of this, Honey is a deserving recipient of this week’s star of the week. Well-done Honey,
