Infant Star of the Week

Class 3 – Year 1 – Felix

Infant overall star of the week goes to Felix from class 3. Felix gives 100% in every lesson. His reading, writing and spelling are above average and is very competitive in mathematics. He remembers facts very well in science and history. On top of this Felix is always very polite and helpful, a good team member and friend to all. Well-done Felix!

 Class 8 – Year 3 – Isabella 

This week’s star of the Week for KS2 is Isabella. In class, Isabella always tackles every challenge with a smile and perseveres even when she finds it challenging. We love her positivity and politeness, especially when she says thank you after a lesson. She is extremely supportive to her peers and has a rare ability to make everyone feel valued and special. On top of all this, Isabella always gives 100% to all she does in school. Well -one Isabella.

Class stars of the Week

Class 1 – Reception – Layla

Layla is our star of the week. She has done some amazing writing this week and loves to write. She is not afraid to have a go and is starting to form sentences. Her handwriting is coming on really well too and she is forming most of her letter correctly. Layla’s maths is a strong point too. She is secure with her numbers up to 20 and beyond and is starting to do calculations. Layla has got a great attitude to her work and always gets on with it straight away and does it to the best of her ability. Well-done Layla.

Class 4 – Year 1 – Amelie

Amelie has worked so well this week. Our supply teacher was very impressed at her knowledge of rainbows when we were talking about our topic ‘weather’. Amelie has been a top notch participator in our special ‘Sport Relief’ week where the school has fun a different sporting activity everyday. Well-done Amelie keep up the super work.

Class 5 – Year 2 – Agnes

Agnes has worked really hard on her maths and English this week. She has been really focused and completed work quickly and accurately showing an excellent level of understanding. Well done, keep up the great effort

Class 7 – Year 3 – Kiki

Kiki is a lovely member of the class who has an excellent attitude towards her work. Kiki works very hard to produce an excellent standard of work across all areas of the curriculum and is particularly excellent in producing amazing creative story writing and Kiki also has a clear understanding of most areas of mathematical concepts too. Very well done Kiki!

Class 9 – Year 4 – Joseph 

Joe is a friendly, reliable and cheerful member of the class. He works hard in lessons and often brings in extra work from home about the topics we are studying. We particularly liked his Viking long-ship. He is polite well mannered and popular, well done Joe, keep up the good work.

Mrs Hamilton / Mrs Peck

Class 12 – Year 5 – Poppy 

Poppy always works hard and tries her best in all subjects. She has a lovely manner with all her peers and she is respectful and kind. I have been very impressed with her attitude to learning and school even when work is not easy for her. She reads regularly at home and is progressing well. Poppy has been bringing in some fantastic homework from the homework grid and some amazing artwork, which she does as a hobby. She has been very enthusiastic in class and gets involved wherever possible. Keep up the great work Poppy!

Class 14 – Year 6 – Dylan

This week’s star of the week in class 14 is Dylan. Dylan has done some amazing work in grammar and has really listened and tried his utmost to improve his grammar. This was evident in the amazing score he had in his grammar test this week. As usual Dylan took on this work with his usual cheeriness and great sense of humour. Well-done Dylan
