Infant Star of the Week
Class 5 – Year 1 – Christopher
Class 5 infant trophy for friday 16th march is Christopher. Christopher is a great member of the class who works hard and tries his best in all areas. He listens well to instructions and completes a task quickly and accurately. He is competitive and enjoys the fact that he is working in the blue area for both English and maths. Well done Chris, keep up the great work.
Junior Star of the Week
Class 7 – Year 3 – Thomas
Overall Star of the Week goes to Thomas. Thomas has greatly grown in confidence this term and is showing that he is able to work confidently producing a very good standard of work across all areas of the curriculum. Thomas is a most valuable member of the School C Thomas is very helpful and polite and is a pleasure to teach.
Class Stars of the Week
Class 2 – Reception – Lucas
Reception star of the week is Lucas. Lucas is our class star because he has come into school every day this week with a smile on his face and has been enthusiastically joining in with wake and shake in the playground. He is a very helpful member of our class and sometimes reminds adults of the things they have forgotten! Lucas loves maths and has done some brilliant doubling and halving this week, as well as some great addition sums using the dice. Well-done Lucas!
Class 4 – Year 1 – Tyler
Tyler is the star of the week in class 4. Tyler has been making a huge effort in class. He is listening well and settling down to work quickly and quietly. I have been impressed with the work Tyler has produced this week, especially his science work about animals. Well-done Tyler. Keep up the hard work.
Class 6 – Year 2 – Mia
The star of the week in Year 2 is Mia from Class 6. Mia is a very polite and helpful young lady who always goes out of her way to help others. This week Mia has been working extremely hard in the English lessons and has demonstrated that she has the ability to plan and write interesting stories and then, by using a dictionary, able to edit her own writing. She has also been working hard during the ‘Numeracy’ lessons and is now able to recite the 2 times and 3 times tables.
Well-done Mia! I am very proud of you.
Class 8 – Year 3 – Isla
This week’s class star of the week for class 8 is Isla for showing a real dedication to learning by persevering when she finds it difficult and helping other members of her table if they are stuck. It has been lovely to see Isla’s confidence grow over the year, showing that she is a confident, friendly girl who is always happy, polite and helpful. Well-done Isla!

Class 10 – Year 4 – Grace
Grace deserves star of the week this week because she brings a fantastic enthusiasm into the classroom. Grace is always up for any challenge, can speak her mind and offer a valid opinion without ever over stepping the mark. Grace has also had a brilliant week remembering most of her belongings, such as her reading record and coming into school on time. Keep it up Grace!
Class 11 – Year 5 – Korey
This weeks year 5 star of the week is Korey. Korey has worked very hard this week persevering with some difficult maths work. His attitude towards his learning has vastly improved and he has started to display real maturity ensuring he learns from the mistakes he has made to move forward with his learning. Keep up the good work mate!
Class 13 – Year 6 – Lola
Lola is such a consistently great pupil to have in class. She always tries her best, is conscientious with her work and thus, produces work of excellent quality. This has been evident in her creative writing, with her description of a scene full of figurative language, personification and metaphor.
Lola is a joy to have in class and I greatly enjoy teaching her. Well done, Lola!
